My. husband and I have been looking at a Smith & Wesson 9mm as our first guns. Does anyone have any guidance they can offer first time buyers and reference material, etc? Thanks in advance

That S&W M&P 9 is a great gun. I would seriously get some good training though and make sure you pay equal attention to selecting a holster which is just as important www.comp-tac.com has some of the best holsters on the market.

There are good schools in Florida. Just Google tactical firearms training or something similar. A good school in Ohio is www.tdiohio.com. It is worth checking out the website to see what kind of advanced training is available.

Best of luck.
