What causes a keyhole in a target, ammo or firearm?
both can, if you have a sloppy or worn and abused barrel, improper charge on a round or imballanced bullet, cheap rds, many factors of both can cause key holing......
thanks for the info.
Hey Snke Dr., the biggest culprit that has caused this problem for me is a dirty barrel. If attention isn't paid to lead and/or copper buildup in the barrel, you're going to have problems! I believe the excessive build up of these materials in the barrel will cause interference with the rifling and proper bullet spin. It's a very serious contender for the title of Keyhole King!!
I second that deplumed......
dirty barrel it is!
