To whom it may concern, The set up goes like this. A seller has a firearm for sale and is contacted by what seems to be a legitimate buyer. Then the buyer obtains the address of the seller to send a cashiers check for the cost of the item in addition to any shipping or other charges, which is (4) times the actual cost. The cashiers check is bogus and the unsuspecting seller goes to his bank and tenders the check. After which he is instructed to wire the money minus the actual cost of the gun via western union to a location where the buyer takes the money. The seller is now charged by his bank for the entire amount as the check wont clear and he is left holding the bag.
