Anyone out there at all familiar with this older Thompson (circa 1984-88). I have an opportunity to pick one up in mint condition.

I've got a late 70's model TC Hawken .50 cal. It's an absolutely beautiful rifle! I got it from my Dad in the early 90's, he never shot it. Just admired it's beauty! I did that as well but had to shoot it. I used black powder initially but went to Pyrodex shortly thereafter. I'm still amazed at the accuracy of this thing and all I used was the iron sights. You won't regret buying one of these works of art!
