Purchased a Colt, King Cobra, 4", 357 back in about 1992 that was high quality and just a fun shoot, but never a practical carry because of its size and weight. When I finally decided to sell, I was amazed at the value appreciation as it had become quite collectible. Replaced it with a Ruger SP101. Factory grips were just OK. Hogue replacements made it feel as though it was made to fit your hand much as the Colt I sold. As most owners do, for practice I shoot twice as many 38+P as 357 rounds. My 1st choice for concealment will always be my S&W, 642, but I find myself picking up the SP101 more & more when I leave the house. Just an all around well made & reliable handgun.
