I am word blind. She was 21 and not 12. However, I began to teach her gun safety when she was about 7 years old. Now, she goes to the range with me, and I think she sincerely enjoys doing some of the "male things". When she was 7 I enrolled her in tae kwon do. She achieved her 2nd degree black belt when she was 15, competed in the US Nationals and obtained two silvers. Her mother on the other hand challenged me for teaching a "girl" those things, and providing those opportunities for a "girl". She is a very good shot now with an SP 101 357 but almost always shoots 38 spl. She choose the SP 101 over the SW Model 60 for what ever reason--"it felt good".
