CAN U HAVE CCW IN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA? AND IF SO HOW WOULD I GO ABOUT GETTING ONE?
I don't know the exact Rules, but they are very selective about who they give them out to. You cannot just say you want it for Self Defense, unless you have a very good reason to do so.
Check with your Sheriffs Dept.
There do seem to be problems. I know there are a number of moderators but I wonder who maintains the site? It looks like a lot of work.
I just purchased the BDE .40 steel full size. who makes a good holster for it. looking for something for concealment. appriciate any help.
The first pistol that I owned was a BDE. It got me through my CCW class, but every time I pulled the trigger, the trigger dug into my finger and made it difficult to concentrate on the target. It was a fine gun, but the trigger issue made me trade it.
Here's your holster-I usually carry with an iWB holster I got from a show, then bought a shadow fbi cant custom made, but my favorite is my bianchi accumold size 11 for my semi compact BE. it's marketed for the glock 19 but fits great, the size for the Glock 22 (12,13?) fits the full size BE, these holsters also come in left hand
I have the BDE in .40 cal full size (Photo 4) After approximately 800 rounds fired, the extractor quit ejecting the spent rounds, it was defective or damaged through normal use. I sent it in for repair, they replaced (warranty) it in the time promised and matched the finish. No run-arounds just good customer service.
I recently bought the BDE .40 cal, I have not had a chance to fire this pistol yet but when i got it home i noticed that the trigger has a kind of grinding sound and feel when i squeeze the trigger. Is this normal for a BDE? I also noticed that if you shake the gun the slide rattles. I bought this gun because of the reviews on here and it feels very nice in my hand and i liked the double action feature. I may have made a mistake by buying a gun that was out for display, i'm not sure. Any info would be greatly apreciated.
punisher, I do not think that is normal. My trigger isn't as smooth as other weapons that I own, but the slide is solid - no movement at all. You may want the gunsmith at the shop you purchased it from to look at it. Certainly break it down for a cleaning and visual prior to firing.
punisher, As Toeman stated it is not normal. I cleaned and held my BDE for about 3 weeks until I finally went to shoot some rounds threw it. Never felt what your talking about. My first thought was how solid the gun fills. I put the BDE on layaway for about 2 weeks and requested them to find me fresh one, which they did. I would take yours back if possible.
friends, I am a one (good) armed lefty, this is why i bought the bDE, I'm sitting here with the gun apart wondering if there is any way to reverse the mag release? I desire good advice prior to preforming surgery on my favorite carry gun

My question is why is there no rifling in the barrel of my grilfreinds bde .45?
do you think that this gun would be good for a law enforsment office.
