I believe that "they" are afraid of what he has up his sleeve. I discovered today that he (Assange) has taken out several insurance policies that specifically spell out "if he is assassinated" language. As far as the Julian Assange and Wikileaks thing and the question posed -

From what I understand he claims to be a person who wants to expose the truth to the rest of the country. If that is the case then why does he hide behind a bunch more info that he supposedly has hidden away as an "insurance policy"? Stand up and be a man, not a little rat hiding in the sewer.



This convinces me that he is no patriot but rather someone with an agenda to gain something for themselves. If his interest was really to show the truth he would have shown it all, not used it as a shield. He needs to be treated just like anyone else that decides to put out classified info, tried for treason, denounced as a traitor to the very foundation of the country and put in front of a firing squad. Make it as public as possible.

The good news is that Assange was arrested today, in London on warrants issued by the Swedish government. Assange is wanted on suspicion of rape, sexual molestation and unlawful coercion in Sweden. Not to mention disseminating secret US documents. I hope they hang his ass out to dry. Hopefully the proof they have on the rape and molestation charges will be enough to get him thrown in the yard with some people that are already waiting for him.



But, if you have listened to the other side, these charges may be trumped up, fabricated by two or three jilted lovers!
