Interesing that you mention this. Barnes CR 10 will remove any laquer residue with good result. I've never used Bear, but have fired thousands of rounds of Wolf. (really forced to because of availability) I've never had a problem with the pistol ammunition: about the worse thing I can say about it is that it's dirty. The Glocks were designed as military pistols so hard primers shouldn't be a problem, but what you said about the extractors is something to think about. As far as 5.56 I wouldn't use it even for target practice.
