I landscape for a living, one of the reasons to carry a glock. It is a dirty, dusty business. My pistol gets to collect a lot of crude from my work environment. I have been noticing the amount of crude on my backstrap and today cleaned it with the old used toothbrush. It really does get into the checkering and cleans it well. Most of you guys have probabally figured this out already. This thread has been silent for too long.
a toothbrush does work well but i found that they sale a plug to prevent this and i also like field stripping the weapon and using good ol' soap and water to clean the polymer inside and out then do you basic clean and oiling
