I'm with you shot4. In the few instances where I have left my gun in the car (for very short periods of time) I'm always nervous about it and can't wait to get back. If I'm carrying my compact 9 on my back, I unhloster it in the car and keep it under my leg. In Ct. you can't have a loaded gun in your car unless you are carrying. By definition that means it must be in contact with your person at all times. I do believe that there are different guns for different occaisions. If I'm wearing shorts and a t-shirt my 1911 doesn't quite work for concealed carry.
