Ah... Well... not exactly looney toones soothing, just confidence....
LMFAO just thought i'd lighten the mood.
Personally, I am working on inventing the 1st "Self Cleaning Weapons", as that is really a job I hate. Especially if just popping a quick 50 after Work, (Kinda like having a quick Drink) I don't want to have to clean the Gun when I finally get home. Don't mind if a few Hundred go through, but after minimal use, I know it's probably not even necessary, but I still do it out of habit.
Maybe I will try the Dishwasher next time! It makes too much of a racket in the damn Washing Machine!
the military has this wipe that you rub on your gun and you won't have to clean your gun afterwards.. I forget the name of it I will get back to you but they use it in Iraq right now It really helps out alot
probably a lubricant or solvent that coats the barrel and other parts and keeps them dust and powder free.
JD,SW, It just seems any type of dampness at all would help accumulate powder, carbon etc. That would be interesting to try, as I stop often on the way Home and just shoot a Box of Ammo, as I rarely ever get a chance to spend any amount of time practicing.
depends on whether or not it dries and doesn't leave a sticky or dust happy environment....
I can maybe see the Barrel being of some Space Age Composition, where it will not attract and hold any Powder or Carbon maybe, but don't you feel any type of additive would at least leave some slight residue that would tend to hold Carbon or Powder rather than keep it clean? I would like to learn more about what JD mentioned.
Well, I thought I would give you all an update since I started this thread last year. After about nine months of searching and doing my research I finally picked the pistol that I want to purchase. It has been really tough, and I couldn't have done it without you guys and your input earlier on last year. I have tried out several pistols on looks, feel, etc to see which one fits me the best as you guys advised and finally found it. I will be posting pictures of the new pistol sometime in the next week or so (as I am currently trying to obtain it through ordering). In the meantime, I thought I would put a list of the pistols I tried to give you guys an idea of the range I was using when looking into purchasing my very first weapon. One of the pistols is naturally the one I picked, but I'll let you guys try to figure out which one I decided on while you wait. Enjoy and thanks again for all the help!
MR IMI Baby Desert Eagle/IMI Jericho 941 FBL
Smith & Wesson M&P
Smith & Wesson Sigma (VE)
Springfield SA XD
Walther P99 QA
I'm guessing Smith M&P or the CZ.
Well, here are those pictures as promised. I'm not the best photographer in the world, so I apologize for the blurry images, but I am pretty sure you guys can make out what pistol it is. Once again thanks for all the help!
