I must still love this gun because I haven't sold it yet and I sold my Sig P220 instead. That has to say something doesn't it? Again I have the Tactical 45acp with the five inch longer slide.

Can someone recommend a good yet affordable light/laser system to slide on the rail? Any help would be appreciated.
I bought an NCStar, and within two shots, the laser malfunctioned to a point

I absolutely love this gun. I have almost 8000 rounds through my XD-40. Mostly 135gr jacketed hollow points. They are the most accurate in mine. The only time it failed to go bang was a bad round that

BrooklynBoy, That video was something. No crime in Switzerland now I know why. More people should see it especially those against guns in law abiding homes.

Hello everyone, first time poster, long time follower.
After much research and initially wanting a Glock, I bought my full size XD-40 on 9/11/09 (yeah). This is my CCW gun, and yeah,

jbfla, Thank you for your post. You my not have addressed it to me alone, but it addressed both my question and the problem I was having using my new Crimson Trace grips.

I put the Crimson Trace grip on my XD but after so many years with iron sights I am having a hard time just looking for the red dot. Just have to practice I guess? I just wonder if I made a mistake a maybe should have gotten the XS System sights. Any ideas out there?

Will Carry & goldfalcon6, Thank You both for your input. My wife has them on her Glock 26 but I can't use that gun. One reason is it doesn't fit my hand because they are kinda on the big side

JMKPM, I've got CT grips on my Kimber Ultra, and I swear by them. With age 60+ eyes, they are pretty close to a miracle. They are also great training aids. A friend of mine is new to pistol shooting,

I just picked up a set of Crimson Trace grips for my XD sub-compact. Anyone have anything good or bad to say about them? I've always used iron sights so I guess they will take some getting used to. I was going to get XS Sights but I got a price on the CT grips I could not pass up.

Found me a set of nib SP01 Green Trijicon Night sights for the xd for 85.00 on ebay. There was a button there that said make an offer. I offered the guy 75.00 and he took it. Took the xd to the gun smith today to get them installed.

Hey Edward, I put about 200 rounds thru my XD9 subcompact today and it seems the more I shoot it the smoother it becomes. Each time I go out, my accuracy gets better as well. I am using Federal 95 grain

I made it to the range today and let go with with my XD Sub-Compact. I thought because of the shorter barrel, it might have a stronger recoil than my .40 XDM 3.8, but I couldn't tell the difference.
