barrel to frame fittings are a little lose on the US model, and the sight is dropped a few mm's ........other than that i havnt seen any differences

I'm sure this question has been asked numerous times already, but has anyone shot the U.S. model AND the Italy stamped 92? Notice any differences? ( Fit, finish, reliability, accuracy)

It's a very good weapon, though by now the overall design is a bit dated. Above all it's totally reliable. I've put over 5000 rounds through one including 1000 lead reloads without a jam.

I have a 92f that was recently given to me. it has no rust and seems well maintained. it was never fired even though it is what 17 18 years old. Every and i meen every ejection had to be re racked. It never jammed but the ejction rounds caught sideways in the slide. I am baffled by this. Help

My best friend has one(blue, 40 cal) and i really love it.It is reliable,accurate,comfortable, and works real smooth. Nothing about it feels cheap. We shoot together all the time, and that is the reason i dont have one....ill jus shoot his :)

Have two FS92 in stainless. Bought the first one some 20 years ago. Have not had any problems (failure to fire, failure to eject) with any ammo I fed it, ever, unless you count one cartridge

Love this gun. Read a lot here and all over the net. There is a lot of brand loyalty out there that I would suggest to anyone new to guns to explore many models on their own before taking preferences

try the glock series. you'll never go wrong with this gun. i use to own a beretta 92. i sold it last year. i haven't regreted it up to now. i got a 1911 9mm just for fun shoots. i, on the other hand, trust my life with the glock.
the beretta is a sufficient gun. that's about it.

just like tex said after that time not much of a problem, although i would look into changing the spring guide to a better more sturdy style. the one that comes aith it looks plastic so get a metal one.

Just like with a new car you need to break it in and use good lubes.
No different than with a gun. Also use good ammo and after that you will never have a problem. Just make sure you maintain

i'd watch the sig there's been some problems with it lately. aparently just like the sr9(ruger) it goes off when its dropped just a word to the wise check out the problems before you buy.

I am looking at getting my first semi-auto pistol. My short list is the Beretta 92, Glock 34, S&W MP 9mm, and the XD(m) 9mm which was just released. I have read a lot of reviews but have not decided. What are some of your opinions on the better choise?

the standard 92 is infact a 92F and
The difference between the Model 92F and the 92FS is the size of the hammer pin head. As a result of this dimensional difference, the Model 92FS has additional cuts to the slide and the left hand grip panel.

I am a very happy Beretta 92F owner. I am, however, thinking about putting a bit more accurate rear sight on it. Any good recommendations? I have the tool for removing the original and installing

Just bought one, 2 year old gun, one previous owner. 'Inox" with the rail under the barrel. Has had wolff springs and a steel guide rod put in...hogue wraparound saddled on. Basically it fits

I personally have never owned this gun as it's too heavy/large for my liking, but I have to say it a quite impressive weapon. I have fired two different versions of this pistol through three friends/owners,

I carry this as a daily carry along with my Springfield 1911's and my
texn695 rates the Beretta 92:
