Thank you and I'm with you 100%!! God Bless America and God Bless our Military, Veterans and their Families! It's time to stand up and present a solid front line against the coming Socialist attack against our government. Never has the need for unification been more necessary than right now. Obama's goons are already trying to contest and change the 22nd Amendment which limits presidential terms! It's time to stop this blatant attack on our USA. This is why our Founding Fathers added the 2nd Amendment to our Constitution, to stop anarchy within our government. The People are supposed to control government, not the other way around! Wake your elected officials up people!! Make them smell the coffee and gunsmoke!! Damn it, if we don't do it, nobody is going to give one single shit about it. It's time to get off your asses and do something, even if it's one email, one phone call or a bumper sticker. Do something to protect our gun rights and the 2nd Amendment!!

I was at an Action Pistol shoot on the 4th and the match director read some of the preamble of the constitution and it sounded like a responce to what is going on in the country TODAY. I thaught he was rallying the troops for war.

How do you boil a frog alive? You put him in a pot of cold water and slowly bring it to boil. If you drop him in a pot allready boiling he will simply jump out. That is what the government is doing to us. They are slowly turning up the heat. The NFA, the 1968 Gun control act, the Brady bill..ect. I thaught the constitution said congress shal pass NO law....

Exactly!! I find the comparison to frogs typical of liberal consideration. A prime example of what our own government considers our impact to be is their obvious assault on our Constitutional rights! They consider our conservative views as jumping around from office to office, croaking our displeasure over their actions. That of course applies only when you actually let your elected officials know that you're sick and tired of the status quo! If you want to let things continue along unchecked, then you don't need to do a damn thing. If you want to make a difference, you better get busy!!! This entire farce has gotten totally out of hand. If conservative sense doesn't redirect this mess in a damn hurry, we'll be screwed from every angle that we haven't already experienced! What a mess...

2010 is an election year for 1/3 of the senate and 1/2 of the house of representatives. It would be nice if congress got the message; the voting taxpayers are now in charge .

START A BILL TO PLACE ALL POLITICIANS ON SOCIAL SECURITY

SOCIAL SECURITY:

(This is worth reading. It is short and to the point.)

Perhaps we are asking the wrong questions during election years.

Our Senators and Congresswomen do not pay into Social Security and, of course, they do not collect from it.

You see, Social Security benefits were not suitable for persons of their rare elevation in society. They felt they should have a special plan for themselves So, many years ago they voted in their own (and read their small print) benefit plan.

In more recent years, no congress person has felt the need to change it. After all, it is a great plan.

For all practical purposes their plan works like this:

When they retire, they continue to draw the same pay until they die.

Except it may increase from time to time for cost of living adjustments. .....

For example, Senator Byrd and Congressman White and their wives may expect to draw $7,800,000.00 (that's Seven Million, Eight-Hundred Thousand Dollars), with their wives drawing $275,000.00 during the last years of their lives. This is calculated on an average life span for each of those two Dignitaries.

Younger Dignitaries who retire at an early age, will receive much more during the rest of their lives.

Their cost for this excellent plan is $0.00. NADA!!! ZILCH!!!

This little perk they voted for themselves is free to them. You and I pick up the tab for this plan. The funds for this fine retirement plan come directly from the General Funds;

"OUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK"!

From our own Social Security Plan, which you and I pay (or have paid) into, every payday until we retire (which amount is matched by our employer), We can expect to get an average of

$1,000 per month after retirement..

Or, in other words, we would have to collect our average of $1,000 monthly benefits for 68 years and one (1) month to equal Senator Bill Bradley's benefits!

Social Security could be very good if only one small change were made.

That change would be to:

Jerk the Golden Fleece Retirement Plan from under the Senators and Congressmen. Put them into the Social Security plan with the rest of us

Then sit back.....

And see how fast they would fix it!

If enough people receive this, maybe a seed of awareness will be planted and maybe good changes will evolve.

I am beginning to understand all this a lot more than I ever did! I always thought the Gov't had the same plan we do. Ignorance I guess, but I feel there are many people who think the same way.

We need some elected officials that are more interested in serving (Legal) American citizens instead of pleasing the illegal population. God forbid we insult them or violate the Constitutional rights they haven't earned or have any "right" to.

Of course if the Obama administration has their way, God won't be allowed to have any part of or the ability to influence American government! They've already started producing money without the words, "In God We Trust". Evidentially the phrase is bothering some of our Islamic residents. Boo Hoo...

I wonder if the Gov'ts Retirement Pay Plan will not get a Cost of Living increase this Year?? Just like SS won't! It's Official now, I saw it in Todays Paper. Damn, most people don't even get Min. Wage and even that's below Poverty Level!

How the Hell do they expect us to exist? I guess on our Huge Bank Accounts and their Interest Level! LOL

I don't know if this may be Off Topic, but did you ever notice when The Lottery is Big, they line up around the Block to buy a Ticket? Do they think their chances are better of Winning?

The Odds remain the same no matter how big it is.

And why give 1 person $75 Million Bucks? Why not give them $5 Mil. and give the Runners Up the % of the difference?

It may help the Economy, and I am sure the $5 Mil. Winner will still be very happy as well!

But that's just 1 persons opinion that has Never bought a Ticket. Hell, I would not Bet on a 20 to 1 Horse no less a 14 Million to 1 Lottery Ticket!

At least in NY they give you 2 chances, making it 7 Million to 1! (Or they used to anyway)

AND THEY DID. IT WAS ANNOUNCED ON THE NEWS THAT THE TERMS WERE WRITTEN INTO THE NEW HEALTH CARE REFORM INITIATIVE ENSURING THAT CONGRESS WILL BE 100% EXEMPT !

SO, THIS GREAT NEW HEALTH CARE PLAN THAT IS GOOD FOR YOU AND I... IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR OBAMA, HIS FAMILY OR CONGRESS...?? WE (THE AMERICAN PUBLIC) NEED TO STOP THIS PROPOSED DEBACLE ASAP !!!! THIS IS TOTALLY WRONG !!!!!

PERSONALLY, I CAN ONLY ACCEPT A UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE OVERHAUL THAT EXTENDS TO EVERYONE.. NOT JUST US LOWLY CITIZENS... WHILE THE WASHINGTON "ELITE" KEEP RIGHT ON WITH THEIR GOLD-PLATED HEALTH CARE COVERAGES.

But Tig really, As you stated they have a better plan and have had one. What would you do in their position?
