You might try Crossbreed holsters and see if they have something that might work for you. My buddy uses one and totally swears by it. He says he forgets he has it on. Good luck.

lol, I think I must have bought about 50 holsters trying to find exactly what I wanted. Even now, I have a couple personal favorites but I dont have 1 holster for every different way I carry. \

I've learned (after great expense) that a cheap holster is just that, cheap. After you get an idea of what you like; pony up the extra coin and get a nice holster! Another thing I've found is that a holster with only 1 belt clip usually allows the holster to "twist" as you move around (which could allow the weapon to print or cause it to be uncomfortable wearing it or need constant re-adjusting), where as one with two belt clips typically eliminates this problem.

I use my desanties holster quite a bit, my comtac c-tac gets a fair amount of use and my brigade see's a bit!

My primary method of CC is just behind the hip with say a 20 degree cant to help keep my pistol from printing. Carrying this way allows me to stay concealed with jeans and a loose fitting t-shirt. If it matters I'm 5'10" athletic build.

belt buckle is right, i make holsters as a side-gig. Cheap is cheap, nothing uncle mikes makes is worthy for CCW, even thier thumbreak model rattles. if you want quality ya got to pony up over $40 in most cases

I use a Bianchi leather strap holster, 2 straps for the belt, only mm's thicker than the width of the gun itself. rides close, with a 15* forward cant. use it with my millennium pro.......cant see its there and it only prints when i raise my hands over my head.........i paid $70 for it lol

ya want something good, forget uncle mikes exists, thier IWB holsters will flop around too much, and thier OBW dont hold up, good tactical combat holsters but not for CCW :-D

smith6906,

So do you mainly make them for yourself and for friends or in more of a retail fashion? You seem to have a lot of good experience and advice, you should think about starting a thread in here and sharing some of your knowledge with the rest of us. I can only speak for myself, but I know that I would be very interested. Just think about it.....

thats a pretty good idea, i make custom holsters for friends and people i know for guns that are harder to find holsters for, PT92's with rails, judges, brigadeer models, .25's haha all the way to cowboy action, all hard case leather, all molded, i even dabble in kydex sometimes. with injection molds *only doing sigs in kydex right now*.

i grew up poor but loving firearms so i started making leather molded holsters for my bb guns, then airsoft.....then real pistols. takes me about 4 days to make a really nice leather holster. and about 1 to do a kydex. ill deff have to think about starting a thread :-D

My Don Hume w/the extension to keep the gun from touching your body has been good for me. I have two different sizes. One for the 3" barrels, and one for the 380.

But please post the pictures. I feel sure that I would buy one. Maybe you could call it the "Gun Directory Special."

I have also played with several holsters but settled on a favorite or two...

First, because in my work, wearing a cover garment all day would attract undue attention. I settled on a deep concealment holster that I have come to love. The PDA/Cell Pal. I have two, one for my snubby and another for an auto.

Second, when I'm on a hiking trip or out fishing, I like the Safe Packer. I just don't like dealing with the frightened/curious looks that accompanies open carry. Not to mention that I prefer the tactical advantage of concealment.

Thanks for the comment on the Cross bread holster, I'm thing about getting one for the days I can get away with that level of concealment.

Also, I appreciate any input on a good pocket holster, I haven't yet found one I like.

yeah concealment is great, although my permit just expired so now i OC everywhere, but luckily for me i live in a small town, and know all the police officers, and the way i dress makes tourists think im a detective anyway so they dont even look at me funny haha, its odd though..........at first you feel like your doing something wrong......... .but then it just becomes second nature..........but i have at least 15 concealment holsters, and the weapon I OC is my Taurus Millennium pro........THAT weapon is hard to find a good holster for haha
