Mine went back to the factory. Its shot loose 3 times now. Not sure if its a design flaw. The factory has been great. Will be swapping mine out for the .44 which has a better reputation.

sorry to hear that, Magnum. I have two pathfinders and a bulldog with 1000 plus rounds through them, no problems. But I think the pug needs some design work done on it............

I agree. I was hoping that the full replacement would have solved my problems, but it shot loose again. Hope they take a good look at it- I just do not think it can handle 357 magnum loads.

I liked the gun, or guns, because after my orriginal went back I managed to get a replacement which went back 3 times. On mine the hammer would lock up. Never able to shoot more than 25 rounds. My bulldog needs frame and grip screws tightened after 50 rounrs, but so do most of my big caliper hand guns. I could use lock tite, lots of people do. I just figure I'd need to get it appart and could'nt cause of the lock tite. I always go over my guns while shooting and cleaning Almost lost a grip screw on my sig 239 sas. Anyway, I have eagle secret service on the bulldog and trust him!

Wish I had seen this site before I bought my Pug. I bought a similar Taurus but the with the first one the cylindar would not rotate and the replacement nothing would work. It was as if the lock was engaged but it was not, The dealer (Madison Guns, Madison, AL) refused to give me my money back but they did order me a pug. Felt good, fit well but I was not able to go to the range for a few weeks. I seldom carry around home but I bought it to travel with. Good thing I did not need it. When I finally got to the range it only fired 3 shots before the cylindar was out of alignment. I literally flicked my wrist to move the cylindar slightly into alignment to make it work. After a few more rounds even this would not work. I probably will not send it back. Why? just so they can send me another disappointment. I will probably try a Ruger or S/W.

I just bought a Mag Pug, 2 in barrell. I was a little skeptical at first, as it was downscale from what I usually buy, but then so is my income. Heh. It was the most amazingly accurate revolver; right up there with the No. 29 S&W. I had a nice grouping. I also fund it easy on the wrist, small recoil for a .357 Magnum, with the power and shock & awe of a Magnum. I instantly bonded with it. I use it for wilderness protection & in the city with confience.
