Rossi Model 461/462 Reviews

Classic design and rock-solid reliability. Discuss everything from a vintage Cowboy-action to a snub-nose .38 special.

I got the shooter"s pack from Wollf. Went to install the springs and the front sideplate screw was stripped from the factory. It was not coming out, just spinning as I attempted to unscrew it. Removed the grips and the interior of the grips had some extra rubber flashing which I needed to pull out just to be able to reinstall the grip screw. The mainspring can be changed w/out removing the sideplate but the screw I had purchased looked nothing like the factory spring! I just returned from the local gunshow where I was fortunate to be able to sell it for just what I had paid, including the sales tax! All I have lost is the cost of the springs. No more Rossi for me.
