Ive had my G19 for 13 years, buying it new in Germany(no Smyrna markings) and have been nothing but pleased. It feeds all types of ammo flawlessly and the finish still looks like I just pulled it out of the box. I had a Glock armorer look at it and he couldnt find any appreciable wear or tear on the pistol. I have over 11,000 rounds through this pistol with only three cleanings over the last 13 years, stupid, probably, but it only goes to show what an engineering feat this weapon is.

The guy who gave this gun a 2 rating(4 comments below) is, well, off his rocker! This gun is flawless. Accurate, reliable. I added a Hogue grip and perfect. If the chips fall I know 100% my Glock will be there for me.

The top three 9s in my collection are the Glock 19, P228, and XD9 with this easily being my favorite gun for every good reason already mentioned. Enough said.

nice I have a 34 as well and will probably buy another!! the are a well priced out of the box firearm....I rate them ,they are like those dyson vacumn cleaners -ahead of there time,an a clever bit of kit!!

After owning and shooting many 9mms, I swore by my Ruger P94DC. However, after buying an older style G19 (no finger grips or accessory rail,) and putting a few hundred rounds through it, I wouldnt depend on anything else for a home defense, or a conceled carry gun!! It is a VERY safe gun to carry dispite all the negative gossip, even in your waistband. And unless your holding it like a contagous dead rat, there is no chance of jamming! The Austrian Army did a 50,000 rnd test with no more than 20 m.f.s allowed, the glock only had 1!!! Thank you Gaston Glock for a damn fine hand gun!!!

I love this gun, have never had one single problem. If there is one gun i know i can count on out of all my guns, it is by far my Glock 19. Glock makes one hell of a gun. It will shoot whatever, whenever, clean, dirty, dry, wet.... No complaints here. Good shooting everyone....

Wife and I tried out a rental Glock 19 at a local gun range, very impressed with it.Tried out a ruger and a smith & wesson. was not impressed. The glock won!

i was really upset with the glock when i saw other people not using it to its fullest. they did not know how to use the striker fire. this sure is one of the greatest guns i love the accuracy and recoil. the gun fits great in my hand. although a hogue grip would be a great accessory. i shot a 1000 rounds no jams just a malfunction bullet. i bought the 9mm monarchs at academy sports they are only 4.86. theyre ok

Ive never been a fan of polymer frame pistols, but I have to say... after years of putting down polymer pistols I was very impressed. I finally shot a friends Glock last weekend and loved it. I was putting rounds through the center of the target repeatedly. I guess after all these years of scrutiny I shouldnt have knocked it til I tried it. Id like to get one, but theyre a little expensive. Ill have to save for it. In the meantime Ill keep shooting my old reliable Ruger P85.
