I agree that there are cops who shoot well and I know first hand what lead flying in my direction feels like. Scarry as hell. Still one has to stand their ground and protect themselves. I have had to do it several times. It is not fun but it is satisfying to know it came out ok. I just think that most cops need to be better trained to usE their weapons when they need them. I saw my case in point BP the other day. He is getting help and is making some progress. I just hope his bad habits like shooting left handed gangster style doesn't get him hurt. It is not the movies out there. As for me I am just an old guy who enjoys shooting. I never owned a pistol until the first time I was ducking lead and had nothing to shoot back with. It is the reason I voted for Bush for Gov of Texas because Anne Richards wouldn't sign a carry bill. I voted for him for President because I felt he would defend gun rights there too. So far I was right. He and I just don't see eye to eye on immigration and border defense. But that is a different story. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK PATROL. WE NEEED GUN FRIENDLY COPS TOO. If you do get the Cz you will be getting a great gun.

By the way I have a son who carries a badge and gun.I bug him to practice more too. Just because he wears his badge on his belt and gun under a coat doesn't mean he should slack off. I want all 6'4" of him to grow old gracefully.

OK! I just went out and ordered a new CZ75B this week. It just got to the dealers yesterday and I went to sign the papers and now all I got to do is wait the for the 10 day waiting period so I can pick it up! But I did get visitation rights when I went to fill out paperwork. .... I think Im in love! Was a bit suprised at how small it looks compared to most other nines out there. The slide is very low and that makes it look a bit diffrent I think. Looking forward to actually shooting it soon and have already started to stock up on ammo. Just wondering though....what is this slide stop breaking problem that I have heard about from several sources? Is it worth it to get an extra one? Oh.by the way ...the double action was so smooth ....single had a bit rough spot, but it is brand new still.

Best auto pistol in the world. I have shot many jackrabbits out to 96 meters. It fits me like a glove and it is not bulky or too long.

I have yet to find an unhappy CZ owner. Most of us seem to love them. I know I do.

I was just sitting here killing lamp shades and such dry firing my cz 75, thinking how much I love this gun. It shoots great and the meprolight sights I put on it are so nice to use. I love the looks of it too. It feels so good and balanced to me.

I have to honest, Ive only dry fired the CZ75 but I have close friends who have owned them and swear by them. I always loved the smooth light first round double action. Are they still built that way? If i do get one Im gonna go with the 40 sw since that is my duty round. I already have a Hipower that feels similar in size and weight to carry around in 9mm.

They are wonderful and like you remember. I think the 40 will be real winner. I am beginningot get an itch for a 40 to fill the gap between my xd45 (love it) and my cz75 9mm. I was thinking about the cz75 po1 in 40. Have you considered it? Same great feel but a tad smaller. By the way my 75 also has the CT grips now too. They are very cool.
