Well I guess I like ugly, I drive a jeep. ;o)

I was carrying the Taurus PT-140, but it developed a problem, so I got the glock 27. Since I bought the 27 I'm going to get the Glock 22.

I think I'd do something about electing people in your state that don't have such radical views about guns.

Well, thats the problem. We had a republican governor (Romney) who did NOTHING to help us, but allowed the attorney general to set up all sorts of lists and rules that are far beyond what an attorney general should do.

Please don't vote for Romney. He is a limp wristed, hand wringing delegator of authority. He loves to state how much good he did for this state, but he did far much more harm.

Anyhow, all the police in the state of MA use the glock. However this gun is defined by the AG as 'illegal' in the state of MA. So the next time a cop shoots someone, the attorney general could have to sue the police department! Gotta love good ole MA!

I traded in a Beretta model 84 .380 for a new Beretta 9000 S .40 cal. a year ago and love it. I have put over a 1000 solid ball reloads without a jam. This gun shoots straight out to 30 feet and is more accurate than my old model 84. I would suggest the extender plate on the magazine for your pinky if you have average to large hands. This gun is beautiful, and gets alot of commits at the range unlike the Glock, The Glock is a great gun but it reminds me of the rubberband gun I had as a kid in the 60's.

I recently traded for a Beretta 9000 in like new condition. I had limited time to spend at the range and shot a box of 50 in two different brands of 9MM and it shot great and is accurate. I understand it has a heavy spring that makes it a bit hard to rack the slide. Will it break in with use and ease up? Any advise?

My wife and I have a Glock 26, Taurus 431 (.44 Special), and a Beretta 9000s in 9mm. I've made the 9000s my carry piece. It runs any ammo I throw at it... it's accurate, and it fits my hand perfectly. I bought the no-longer-banned 12-round mag along with the mag "pinky" extender. Hard to rack the slide? To me it's no harder to rack than the Glock 26. DeSantis makes a great IWB holster for it named the "Cozy Partner." My 9000s is a keeper.

The Beretta 9000S is a great pistol. I would like to get some additional mags with the flip down extension.

Does anyone know of a Holster made to fit it and where to buy one?

The 9000s in 9mm is my carry piece. I use a inside-the-waistband (IWB) holster from DeSantis. I just visited their site, and I see they still offer quite a selection of 9000s holsters. Here's a link: http://www.desantisholster.com/

If you have read much of my stuff, you know that I do not make a habit of shooting factory ammunition. This pistol would be no exception. In fact, I never even purchased an initial box of factory ammo. I jumped in, bought brass dies and lead and headed for the loading bench.

I loaded 100 rounds, half with HS7 half with Unique. All were loaded with Speer Gold Dot 180 grain bullets.
