Cheap is the right thing about this Gun!!!, I have the .45APC and only had Problems with FEED JAMS!! The Upper Slide is lose not allowing a good sight in, and the plastic grip allows your hand to slip when firing. I would not recommend this for Home Defense. But just to shoot - knock you self out but be careful.

Ive shot this gun for about a year now hundreds and hundreds of shells. Not pretty put allot of fun to shoot. I give it a four because for the price it is well worth it.

I went through two of the .40 pistols and both had serious feed problems with various types of ammo. That was last summer, not sure if they have corrected the defect or not. The dealer I purchase from quit carrying the pistols after they also could not get the guns to feed. I sent an email to the manufacturer last month asking if they had corrected the feed issues and got no response. I wanted one because the pistol shares the same mag as the .40 carbine... which has worked great. www.mkssupply.com has a dealer list I believe.

All I have to say is...POP...Jam...Jam...Jam. Dont waste your time and just spend a little more and go with a Glock, Springfield, Colt or something more reputable.

so,...william1871...do you have an opinion of the hi point 40/45 pistol? you were a little vague...(hahaha).

i owned the .45 for a couple of months. it never malfunctioned but it was a little too bulky and the grip was way too smoothe...
