Hi-Point C-9 Reviews

The magazine falls out of the gun every 2 or 3 shots and you guys are rateing this thing a 4 or 5? I dont have much experience with this firearm so Im not going to rate it. But according to my experience and these reviews its bulky, heavy, lacks anything resembling ergonomics, and has a terrible trigger pull (how all this translates into great accuracy Im not certain, I think someone needs to spend more time at the range). In addition its ugly and parts fall off every two or three rounds. What a great deal, $150 for a gun that will get me killed!

you are speaking from ignorance, if you have not owned one or at least shot one dont judge one.

I couldnt agree more. Dont rate the gun if you cant provide true owner feedback.

The magazine problem is a simple fix. Also, you could be lazy and send it in to Hi-Point for a free fix, fluff and buff, and theyll send it back with a free magazine. What more could you ask for out of a less-than-$200 pistol?

i owned a .45acp by hi point and the only knock i can speak of ,from owner experience, is the oversize of the weapon. the grip is to smoothe for me, also. it folt like a wooden grip.

in defense of the hi point, i have to say that it never malfunctioned after about 500-600 rds. i sold it to my son-in-law, and he loves it. i didnt sell it because of any problems. im a bit of a name dropper, and i used the money from that sale, to buy a smith and wesson .40 caliber pistol.

dont knock it if you dont try it.....

yea ive owned the hi point c9 for over a two month now, ive shot over 500 rounds through it with not one jam or problem, bought this pistol because it was cheap, overall i think this is a great pistol relible but a bit bulky and i aint new to pistols i also own a llama 45 , glock 40 , and then my c9

ive got a llama xi-b 9mm that has functioned perfectly since ive had it. i heard stuff about the llama but if it aint broke, dont fix it. i also own a heritage .22 and an amt .380. the .380, i bought for my wife 15 years ago and she never touched it, so i repossessed it and its the best gun i own. i also have a ruger p-90 .45.....great gun, powerful and well built...

yea i havnt had any probs with my llama 45ive shot to many rounds to count through it and i havnt had a problem there good guns, and for ur p-90 in my opinion that is a great gun

i bought one back in sept of 2000 have put so many rounds i lost count around 20k plus gun always goes bang i would trust my life with it , if push came to shove yes it is a ugly gun but is grows on you gave mine away to a my dad a few months ago back and i am be damm i miss the little beast head out in the next week or so to buy a another little c-9..... you can not go wrong with this gun people that say it sucks are the glock nuts people read any gun mags review and they well tell you this is a very good gun

I had a compact and a compensated model. Bought brand new, and both jammed regularly. These are fine for the something is better than nothing crowd, but I certainly wouldnt trust my life to one.
