I use this gun as my regular. It is a tack-driver. typical superb HK accuracy, 12 capacity mag, has never once FF or FE (and i've put almost every factory ammo under the sun through it). 2 cautions though if you're interested in getting this piece. #1, the double stack mag makes for a huge grip; if you have little baby hands forget this gun. #2, target sights with a big black front blade, very hard to acquire a target in low light. Other than that, this is a man's gun. I recommend it for the experienced pistoleer.

lrrs1, I posted some comments in the reviews section for the HK USP Tactical. As I say in the review I have one in .45 and think it was worth every penny. Great shooter, a little big but a serious weapon.

I've owned the USP Tactical for about 6 years, and used it as a primary duty weapon as a Level I Reserve officer in So.California. This is an awesome weapon. It is durable, accurate, and worth every cent you'll invest. I liked it so much, I got the compact .45 for off-duty, so I'd have the same caliber off-duty weapon. The compact .45 is equally awesome, but is smaller, and may fit a smaller hand better - I have a pretty large hand. In 7 years of duty use, I never failed to qualify in our required monthly shooting training. You'll be impressed if you buy it!!

Purchased the .45 tactical last month, All I can say it's is fun, very accurate and reliable, it is large. But I have been wanting one for years, came with soft H&K soft case 6 H&K 12 round mags, all the acc's and manuals, I will never sell this weapon, the only thing on this I want is the Vortex flash hider, just because it looks cool. I have shot all different loads in it, It likes Federal Hydra-shocks the best, with average groups of one and inches at 25 yards off rest with this ammo, even ball ammo shots great with average of 2 1/2 inches at 25 yards, Just a great gun all around.

Accuracy is impeccable...this firearm is head and shoulders above it's competition. I could go on and on but it's truly amazing. I have to agree that this gun is big...I don't have the biggest hands, but I can still manage it. Also, like all HKs the mags are expensive.
