Question! Anyone have an extra mag butt plate sitting around that they don't want taking up valuable space?

This may sound strange, but when it's cool enough out I wear my wrangler jean jacket. It has two large inside pockets, I keep my G27 in the left and two extra clips in the right inside pocket, this also will balance the jacket out. It's comfortable and you don't have to worry about anyone getting a glimps of what you are carrying. In fact it works so well you have to remind yourself not to take the gun where it is not legal to carry.

I purchased a Glock 27 about one year ago and have put many, many rounds through this one. I replaced the trigger connector with the 3.5 lb connector. Additionally, I added night sights and a steel guide rod. I am very happy with the overall performance of this pistol. I find it surprisingly accurate for a sub-compact. I'm not convinced that the steel guide rod adds any value, so I have mixed opinions about changing the guide rod. I started having FTF wiith high capacity mags with the steel guide rod. No issues using the standard mag or plus 2 standard mag. I use the Glock 23 and 22 mags (higher capacity mags) while at the range. I plan on dropping the stock guide rod back in and testing it on the high capacity mags. At any rate, the Glock 27 is my preferred carry piece. I highly recommend this one.

Added another topic on the main board but here I go...Who has what grip and why? Pachmayr or Hogue or the newest tactical glove?

Congratulations! You better hang on to her!! If this is your first Glock you're in for a real treat!! They're fabulous guns and this is a great piece for concealed carry.

Thanks Tig, I wouldnt trade her for the world! I shot 50 rounds through it so far, trigger system takes a little getting used to but overall I am very satisfied with it. I will take a couple hundred rounds when I have more time and get more familiar with it.

Hotrod... you are a lucky man! Wow to have a wife that not only supports your gun addiction but actually adds to your collection... if we could all be so lucky! LOL

With those extensions I'm sure you'll enjoy the 27.

I am lucky to have her. We both have P239 .40 Sigs that are our current carry weapons but I wanted to try the 27. I found that the Pearce extentions are a better fit than the factory extension and are textured on the front to match the Glock grips, so I now have 3-9 round mags with Pearce +1 extentions. It is a good shooting gun.
