Speed Loader

I bought a HKS speed loader for my .380 pistol which was recommended by Hi-Point. It may work well with other brand .380 magazines, but not very well with my Hi-Point. The end grip extension prevents a flush fit and therefore the magazine is angled and cannot engage the adjustable stop on the loader. When depressing the thumb feed, it pushes the magazine down and the cartridge cannot be inserted. The loader may be placed on a tabletop to prevent the mag from sliding down, but this is inconvenient and require a tight grip on the shaft. Does anyone have a recommendation for a speed loader for the HI-Point designed magazines?
