GSG 1911

I bought a GSG 1911 22LR yesterday and took it to the range for the first time today. This is one nice pistol! Mine has black mil-tac grips instead of the regular walnut and definitely help get a better grip, as well as looking great. I shot around 150 rounds of various brands and loads of 22LR and the gun never burped once!

This is the first 1911 that I have owned, and I could have not picked a better one to start with. I can shoot this 22 version all day for about $15 worth of ammo vs many times that for a 45 or 9mm version. Anyone looking for a fairly inexpensive , but top quality 22 auto should look at the GSG 1911.

I heard that SIG is coming out with a 1911 22lr later this year. I saw pictures of it taken at this years SHOT show and except for the grips, looks exactly like the GSG.
