I have been contacted by someone in England about a gun I have for sale. I am unsure of the laws concerning this kind of transaction. Can you give me any advise.

I dont think handguns are legal for private ownership in England.

I recently was contacted by a person in France wanting me to ship him a "semi auto pistole" and wanted me to make all the arrangements and I ignored it the first time. The second time I had to tell him that it was illegal as hell and told him to get ahold of an international arms dealer. I haven't heard about this England scam. What's that about? Belt is right, handguns are banned in Great Britain.

I haven't heard back since I messaged him I needed to check the law, and see if was legal. I am not doing deals like that no way.

The FBI told me they are legal in the UK only for a private collection, so does that mean any one can have a private collection ? I dont know,
