Charter Bulldog 3\" 44 Special

Postby AndyBill » Sat Apr 24, 2010 7:42 pm

I would like to purchase a Charter Arms 3" Bulldog 44 Special in either Blue or Stainless. I'm going to carry it camping. Charter has their 2-1/2" bulldog, but I already have a custom molded holster for the 3".

Nice choice!! Charter makes good stuff for the price. The 44 spl is a very effective caliber. I used to own one.

The "only" drawback is the fairly 'expensive' ammo. 200 gr JHP is good, but you won't need a whole lot.

It is not meant for 20-30,000 rounds, though. It is strictly a defensive sidearm... and well made.
