Best caliber for home defense

Now that I read your post, it was actually a very good one. An informative one I might add, not only did you suggest your reasons for using it gave him an idea of barrell length and let him know they make ammo specific to close quaters encounters

funandgun, I never said someone is going to launch one from Kalifornia!!! As a side note, when are we going to add a spell checker to this forum? So I can use words I cant spell...

Call me blind or slow, or both...I just noticed the "MODERATOR" under my name..Very cool... Also, I just noticed the word Suggestions on the page. When did all this happen? I logged off around midnight last night...

Best caliber for hom defense? 85lbs of mean pit bull!! If they manage to get past that, shoot with a decent sized hollow point, 9mm and up should do the trick.

I say we write Mr. rubix 8 from TX " guy no.1 who started this page" a note to find out if we have helped him with our suggestions at all or not. May be he has already purchased a gun and he doesn't need our help anymore.
