ANYONE WATCH THE SHOW MAN VS. WILD

Postby Ky-Glockman » Wed Jul 25, 2007 12:11 am

I love to watch it and see some of the crazy things that guy does. It does also help a little in educating people how to survive in those kind of extreme situations.

What do you think about some of the things that this guy does? I guess in survival I would do most of it, but only in a survival situation. He sure has made the money though... man I wish I could get rich by eating bugs and stuff. LOL!

"Survivorman" . He has to lug Cameras and video equiptment........by himself ! Plus do the survival episode. "Man vs. Wild" has a Vid crew . Hmmmm, wich one gets the spit slathered , roaring psychotic Kodiac Fang Flasher first ?!

Man VS Wild is totally staged. That guy would be dead inside 8 hours the way he runs around out there. Survivorman's the real deal. He's even given up a couple of times when he knows he's beat. Man vs wild stays in hotels and he probably hides cooked bugs before he "finds" them.

yeah he admmited theres been nights he went back to a hotel. BUt that guy had a show before man vrs wild and it was called french forigen something and It was bad ass. I dunno I think he can out live surivorman. Not all he does is staged.HE does crazier stuff so he can't really rough it. Like when its zero degrees and they show him swimming in the ice. HE has to get warmed up. It is basic surival skills. I watch both and Love both I just like man vs wild better..YOUTUBE BEAR Grylls some crazy stuff comes up

Basic survival skills would be you don't swim in friggin' ice water if you don't have a way to warm up! Man vs. wild is more entertaining cuz that's what he's doing, entertaining not surviving. The process of surviving in a remote or extreme environment is not filled with entertaining scenarios, it's somewhat tedious and laborious.

If you need to survive in the wilderness take your notes from survivorman, otherwise I'll see ya' on the other side.

I have never watched suvivorman ill have to check in to that one. Sometimes man vs wild does seem to me to be a little extreme and staged.
