Steel Gun Cabinet

Hey BB



Got the Cabinet in and bolted down. It doesn't weigh 800 lbs so it required several long lag bolts. I'd show you a picture of it loaded but I don't know how.

All those big safes have 4-6 inch walls which if you count the door and three shdes thats a lot of room lost to walls alone.



There is an old safe here in town in a Smokehouse Restaurant and it only has about a 2 1/5 foot sqare compartment. Made for money not long guns... I sure would like to have it but it's not for sale. It is holding down the south side of town.

I agree you lose a bit of room, but that's all fire/theft protection. I spent last night wrestling around the behemouth I bought but I got her home anyhow!



Suprisingly enough it wasn't to bad. I was able to get it out with a pallet jack, a furniture mule, and a few guys. Loaded it up in the pickup using a tractor and away I went.
