... ABSOLUTELY!!!

Abb-so-oo-fu**in'-loo-oo-telly!

Sounds like the best way to get the

ARMED AMERICAN CITIZEN-STUDENT

outta th' house an' down to the range

or out huntin' an' baggin' them big bucks...

Fugg th' 'left!'

However... Don't do it all th' time-

You'll defeat the reasons for which

you went on to higher learning in the firstplace!

America does so indeed need; And I do so

as well encourage, our gifted citizen(s) to

become the "American Pistoleer PhD"(s)!

To our un-dear spammer,

How about school work coming before any and all other activities. They do their work and get rewarded with the activities. Then, when they are grown they will be able to apply that knowledge to get better jobs, earning better salaries, then be able to afford more great activities.

Or they could use money their over indulging parents, who obviously are not watching their kids close enough, gave them to pay someone who was smart enough to get a good education to do their work for them. Then they can grow up to be poor and dumb, not having enough money to pay their rent, much less go on a hunting trip.

...Gunny... He's more like a cat than a dawg!

Shit, cats' have them "9-lives" thing goin' for 'em...

What the poet never told us was;

Each of 'em '9-lives' is damn expensive for ushumans!

He's used-up two of 'em so far...

This time- he done ate a rug and a reel of fishin' line!

Th' vet either had to open Gunny up and take it out or give 'im the 'Ol' Yeller' treatment...

Let's say-yy... that cost me that Simplicity Coronet I'd saved up for... had intended to modify it into a woods-worthy hunting vehicle...

Ahh, well... that's love for ya.

Makes one make crazy sacrifices.

Speaking of which... Opening Day, here I am- layin' in my misery smoking a nice Nub 'Conneticut' cigar- No license, of course... a'layin' there on my back-deck on a porch swing... just sun-up... an' there they come just a few dozen yards off, sauntering up the crik that runs by my house... Two doe & a buck... All I could do was just holler @ 'em, "Yer mine!" "I got you!!"

Those deer just stood there, starin' @ me and flippin' their tails... Flippin' their tails!!

I know deer-talk...

Pricks.

I understand the devotion and love for a pet. It's a time when you wonder what you were thinking! We all do it and know it's the right thing to do. Anything else would be regretted at some point in the future. Right? Of course... I'm just glad to hear he's better. What about the spine fracture? Fill me in when you can.

The rest of your post is typical Moose!! You will forever crack me up with your wisdom and view of life!! Have a great and prosperous 2011!

... I just gotta keep an eye on him like I had w/my kids when they were toddlers... Gunny'll eat most ennything!

Well he's able to straddle logs on the ground... however, he'll never be able to 'hop' again... but he can run in full-speed bursts- so 80% bettern' not any day...

And since that Coronet is outta th' question... a Sears lawn tractor isn't... And it's half the price... a weld here & there should do the trick... lock-up the differentials for a 2wd axle... I do intend to rat-rod the thing... so... mebby it was best that Father Creator chose this route rather than I rat-out a high-end mower... Craftsman tractors and I go way back- I had used a 12 horser for haulin' firewood & cut-timber for years w/o ever wrecking it... Just gotta a-fix a huge seat on this'n...

It'll be an interesting fix.

One way y'ih can tell I'm a Pistolero is that all my electronic devices that have digital settings and read-outs... are set to gun calibers and model numbers...

Til later...
