National Right to Carry Reciprocity, H.R. 197

I'd encourage you all to review H.R. 197 and familiarize yourself with it and contact your representatives to support this bill.

In essence, this bill would mandate that all States recognize any other State's permits for concealed carry, much in the same way that States must recognize valid Driver's Licenses from other States. This would give anyone with a permit for concealed carry the ability to carry in any other state. However, individual State laws governing the how's and when's of concealed carry must still be followed by anyone carrying in that State whether a resident or nonredsident.



This is a reinforcement of our individual rights to keep and bear arms. Here is a good summary from the NRA-ILA:
