Well,well and thrice well...

Some of them may be liberals, yet it is clear they shot their

fair share of .22's during their American youths.

The language in the health care package from BOTH houses

of congress that had contingencies and stop-gaps over the

ownership of firearms and its' effects on coverages and procedeure denials have been dropped due to efforts from

Montanas' Senator Ol' Max Baucus (D). Frankly, It don't matter to me iff'n a guy's a Republican, Democrat, Liberal, Conservative or whatnot- even a Party Shootist like m'self-

iff'n he/she/or gay is good to The Way of the Gun they are

good in my book.

I grew-up amidst the larger-than-life factories and mills that filled the whole of South Buffalo,NY. Most everyone was a Democrat and members of the myriad unions of various brotherhoods...However, 99.9% were shooters and hunters.

So Sen Baucus still must have a bit o' powder left in his horn.

If this bill gets passed...at least it can't be used as anti-gun

legislation.

The 'good calls' came from the GOA- Gun Owners of America.

By pressureing several Demogogueocrat Senators from the Gun States to change gun-grabbing sections of an already

bad legislative effort.

Plus, The GOA had Reid drop the language giving private insurance providers the power to deny coverage and increase rates based on gun-ownership.

GOA leaned the most on Reid, though... and Reid's from Nevada...??

that's a gun state. Right?... How in hell did a shootin' state ever put a guy in that's damn near like the socialist gun-grabber, Schumer the senator from the gulag I'm held in- New(?) York?

Those guys in the GOA are quite the posse to go toe to toe

with the Obama Tyrannicus and take back what is already

ours... Now, to deal with the feds.

What I'm concerned with is if or when the DeeCee gun-haters

decide to lump us gun-owners in with those Ali-Babbah BusBombers as 'domestic terrorists'... Since the Obamites are

so hung-up on their earth-is-warming Orwellian "New Speak" - every thing they say and write has to be defined

four or five different ways...

Idiots! With imported and 'home-grown' Ali-Babba Jihaddaas

sneaking all over America... I fear an un-holy hell is approaching as these dingleberries in DeeCee are more concerned with how much gas comes out a steers' ass and its effect on penguins in Antarctica than they are concerned with

the American peoples' saftey...

I mean Jeeze... This is not like the 'Nam era.

These terrorist/soldiers are here- in country!

They've just proven they can down-a-plane- any time they

want. The only thing that saved those passengers' asses was

the bomb malfunctioned- it did go off- it burned instead of

boomed!

My sidearms and long guns are the only d-fence I have against any marauding attacks these jerks might pull off

here as those two piglets did in DeeCee back a few.

Gotta be prepared...

Peacemaker in one holster..."Law"(?)-yer in the other.

Subject: Clunker Math

A 15 mile-per-gallon (mpg) clunker that travels 12,000 miles a year uses 800 gallons of gas a year.

A 25 mpg vehicle that travels 12,000 miles a year uses 480 gallons a year.

So, the average Cash for Clunkers transaction will reduce US gasoline consumption by 320 gallons per year per vehicle.

They claim 700,000 clunkers were turned-in, so that's 224 million gallons of gasoline saved per year.

That equates to a bit over 5 million barrels of oil.

5 million barrels is about 5 hours worth of US consumption.

More importantly, 5 million barrels of oil at $70 per barrel costs about $350 million dollars

So, the government paid $3 billion (3,000 million) of our tax dollars to save $350 million.

We spent $8.57 for every dollar we saved.

I'm pretty sure they will do a great job with our health care, though.

Hey Fish, whaddaya say about this?

Yeah but after how many years is that money in the bank? Assuming the constants stay the same after say 10 years (after all the clunkers and most of the clunker trade ins are off the road anyway) it's all money in the bank dont cha know!

Come on now, it's an investment into our and our childrens future! Is there too great of a price to save our children of the world? Do it for the children!!!

5 hours of oil X's 10 years is 2 days longer our future generations can continue to use it before it runs out and in 30; almost a week. If we do nothing else but that program and if we continue to do others like it, it will drive the price of oil to a new all time low becuase the demand will no longer be there from all the conservation we have done in years past and with the futures technology we can only hope to all but eliminate our dependence on oil altogether.

Excuse me, I'm going to run for office now.....
