Chicago Gun Control backfires.

The most pro 'gun-control' city in the U.S. [for the law-abiding] seems to be paying the price for their idioitic, anti-2nd Amendment position. Slow learners, there!

Associated Press Apr 14 2010:

CHICAGO -- Two lawmakers who believe violence has become so rampant in Chicago that the Illinois National Guard must be called in to help made a public plea to Gov. Pat Quinn on Sunday to deploy troops.

A recent surge in violent crime... prompted the request from Chicago Democratic Reps. John Fritchey and LaShawn Ford. They were joined by Willie Williams, whose son was shot and killed in 2006.

Chicago has had 113 homicide victims so far this year, Fritchey said.

It's very frightening to think that the idiot in the Whitehouse is working hand in hand with the idiot mayor in Chicago to impose marshal law on the citizens of any city in the United States of America! Good God, what in the world is wrong with those people? This has gone from unbelieveable to dangerous in one year. That SOB and his minions have got to go. If California and Chicago were to fall into their adjoining large bodies of water, the USA would be far better for it.

Mega-Cities like Houston & Atlanta are not crying about uncontrolled violent crimes.

However, their citizens, or potential victims, may be legally armed and THAT creates a most uncomfortable environment for criminals.

According to 2009 FBI crime stats, jurisdictions with armed citizens are experiencing 'dramatic drops' in violent crimes and property crimes.

In most of the U.S., it just isn't safe to be a criminal anymore.

Nobama wants to change that, though.
