Washing Times Wrote This???

Postby GOANRA » Sun May 09, 2010 1:16 pm

On 05 May the Washington Times wrote an article stating Chicago needs to allow CC for all law-abiding citizens to lower their rampant crime/murder rate. This is just the tail-end of a very pro-gun article, which states Chicago's being the 'runner-up' for 'Crime Capital City of the U.S. is their own fault.'

"...That means it is up to the Supreme Court to restore to Chicagoans their fundamental right to self-defense. In the pending case of McDonald v. Chicago, a number of residents are asking the high court to apply the reasoning it used to strike down Washington's gun ban. It is worth noting that a year after the landmark District of Columbia v. Heller ruling, Washington's murder rate dropped 25 percent - without resorting to using the National Guard.

Encouraging personal ownership of guns is the only proven solution to Chicago's crime problem."

I didn't expect such clear thinking from the Washington Times.

The Daley's and Obama's of the country will never admit that a free and armed society is the answer. It's the free and armed society that's in their gun sights. They want to turn our democracy into a socialist republic under marshal law. When they can acheive that, I think their plan is to take control at any cost. If that means taking up arms against the citizenry, they'll do it without batting an eye! The gun confiscation in New Orleans will look like kid stuff. That's when the SWHTF and we'll be considering another war for independance. I also think forums and blogs like this will be censored ASAP. They'll work hard to sever our lines of communication. It might be a good time to warm up those old HAM radios...

We still have the HC bill with countless pages of legalese to be "interpreted" + the Cap & Tax bill to break us, but to see the Washington Times slap-down Chicago & demand 2nd Amendment rights for every good citizen is something I NEVER thought I'd live to see. WOW!! It shows hope.

Also, Colorado State Univ just reversed their firearm ban on campus through the appeals court. No 'Virginia Tech Massacre' there.

It's beginning to 'appear' the good Americans are gaining an attitude towards being dominated.

Even Great Britain voted in the Conservative Party the other day. Who would have thought?

go,

The Washington Times is a very conservative newspaper. You're thinking of the Washington Post.

WH, the Times is conservative, but I'm still surprised how they openly waxed the Daley Crime Machine. In the beginning of that same article, they explained how the politicians and their friends "ARE ALLOWED to CC" in the city.

Quite hypocritical & obvious; like a restaurant owner that won't eat his own food or the Ford dealer who drives a Mercedes... Good enough for you common people, but not for my wealthy self.

Of course they're hypocrites. Liberal is just another word for hypocrite. Senator Diane Feinstein when she was mayor of San Francisco was leading a gun buy back program where she produced a revolver to be melted down. She said she didn't need a firearm. Some quick witted reporter checked California records and found out she had kept a 9mm semi-auto and called her on the carpet on it. Typical.

That must have been before the reporters were threatened into compliance.

Except for NBC, which is owned by GE, [which supplies technology to Iran] who's CEO is J. Immalt, who is Obama's friend and advisor. No threats needed there to spew the Party line and dispense with the pesky truth.

These anti-Americans want this type of European control over 'their Subjects':

UK: City Holds Amnesty for Starter Pistols

"Anyone possessing a Bruni Olympic .380 BBM revolver is being urged to hand it in to the Dorset Police before June 4 or face a five year prison sentence. The gun, known as a blank firer, is often used for race starting or dog training and when imports to the UK first started did not require a licence..."
