No Turn Out

Hypothetically speaking of course, what if there were a major election in this country, and absolutely no one voted? NO ONE?? Is there anything in the Constitution, or even in political law books, that state what would happen in a case like this?

Think carefully before you answer please.

Having a law for a hypothetical situation that has zero chance of occurring would not only be increadibly stupid but something I could imagine our government wasting their time and our money on. It now appears to be something our electorate is capable of too.
