I currently own a springfield xd40, and a refurbished .357 ruger blackhawk, before I found the sig p239. Shot over 2,000 rounds through it with excellent grouping even @ 20 yards. The only jams Ive encountered are with P.O.S. PMC ammo purchased from longs. Now I buy the Winchester FMJ 100 pack, shot another 500-1000 and have not seen a single jam. The action on the gun makes my Springfield look like a cheap toy.

I bought this gun over a year ago for Concealed carry.. It has been the very bes weapon I have owned bar none.. It is super acurate .. I love the Trijicon sights and the hogue grips that it came with.. It is easily concealable and I just like shooting it.. I have fired no less than 3000 rounds thru it and never had one single jam.. I cannot recommend this more..

I bought this pistol in .40 cal. Ive never been more impressed with a pistol in my life. The recoil bucks, but its impressively fun to shoot anyway, and the accuracy doesnt suffer. I train to kill, I dont shoot double taps, I practice real life, every shot counts, one sight picture per shot...and this pistol will perform reliably, without incident, every scenario, every time. You can trust your life to this pistol. I do.

I just bought the P239 SAS in .40 cal and I love it. To be honest its my first REAL pistol purchase as Ive only owned one other that isnt worth mentioning. Ive shot about 300 rounds with it so far, mostly Winchester USA and not one problem whatsoever. Its ultra-accurate and a blast to shoot. I am definitely a fan of Sig now.

I bought my P239 used for a pawn shop. I have put well over 1000 rounds through it and never had any malfunction what-so-ever. Mine is DAO, but I will be sending it to SigArms for a SA/DA conversion, and the short trigger installation. I noticed gundirectory has it categoried in full sized instead of compact. And one of the pictures for P239 features a P245.

I picked up my new Sig 239 40 S&W custom carry, dehorned by Sig, with custom wood grips. I only had time to shoot 50 rounds with it, but boy, does it ever shoot good! Heavy, solid metal and accurate as can be, just what I like in a hand gun.

I have owned many pistols: Ruger 9mm, Colt 1911 45 ACP, Makarov 9mm, Colt 357 mag, etc. The Sig 239, 40 cal with night sights is by far my favorite. It is very well made, accurate, and concealable. Any other pistol is a downgrade from this one. It is preferred by the military, and law enforcement agencies. Bar none, the best one you can get.



There are others, smaller, and more concealable like the Kahr PM series, but the 239 is much more manageable in real life situations.

I'm in the same boat wkanaby, this is a great work of art. I have 10 other autos includig a Glock 27. The 239 is a "real" handgun.

I've had my P239 9mm for about 1000 rounds now and I still love this gun... more-so every time I shoot it. It has been 100% reliable so far with every type of ammo I have thrown at it (not a single failure to feed/fire/eject thus far). The DA trigger is just about the right weight for me, and the SA is a bit long on the pre-trigger but breaks nicely. The gun is very accurate to 30 meters. It is not the lightest CCW in the world but the weight makes the gun very easy to control. I like the narrow profile and the safe hammer-drop mechanism is an excellent feature. Field stripping couldn't be any easier, and the inner workings are machined in the finest manner. If I had to choose one gun to bet my life on, this is it... over my Glock's, my revolvers, all of 'em. This Sig made a fan out of me.

Me too! In fact I put my Glock 27 up for sale yesterday. Nothing wrong with it, just don"t like it.............
