How many mags did you have and did it do it with all of them? I had a similar problem until I determined it was a bad magazine causing the issue.

Had two mags with the gun. Same issues with both. Gremlins, I suppose.

Great gun. I have mine in SAO and keep it loaded in my bedside drawer in case any zombies show up in the middle of the night. I have had it for almost three years and have probably put about 2500 rounds through it. It goes bang everytime and is more accurate than I can shoot. I trust my life with this gun.

One of these for sale in my neck of the woods for $600. Almost new, less than a 50 rounds thru it, all original box. papers, etc, even has the freakin decal..... Decent price? Oh and it also has an extra set of Hogue grips that the guy didn't like.

Great price. The trigger type can vary (DA/SA, SAO, DAK...) so if you like the trigger type I would say go for it.

Yeah, I think I'm gonna buy it. It would be my first Sig. My wife LOVES hers as do many of my friends. They feel nice and solid in the hand and my LE buddies swear by their reliability and accuracy. I'm sure I can always sell it for that or more if I don't like it.

Could be a good price unless it's a DAO. From what I've seen the DAO triggers bring less $$. I think there are a lot of others , like myself, that don't like a DAO pistol. I've seen a range of $75-$150 difference in price between 2 identical used pistols at the same shop. The only difference, one is a SA/DA and the other was a DAO.

If you want to price compare look at gundirectory.com or auctionarms.com or similar gun sale sites to see where prices are currently running.

But you are correct that if it has Sig on the side, you're not gonna go wrong. Happy shooting!!

Just got back from the range with my new Sig P220 SA/DA. Let me preface my comments with the fact that the two .45 cal guns I already own are the favorites of mine, my wife and most of my friends. The Sig is every bit as good as my Kimber and my Beretta Cougar. Shot 3 different boxes of ammo including some JHP PMC I had and it handled all flawlessly. Love it, love it, love it! But then again, as Plastics guy said.......It is a SIG!

Congrats on the new addition to the family. I'm getting that itch again myself. My 220 is one of the European W. Germany imports from when Browning first started importing the Sigs.

I love it and have gotten to like the bottom mag well release but I yearn to add a newer "american" 2 tone 220. Keeping saving my pennies and one of these days...

I test drove a P232 with that funky mag release. I just couldn't get used to it. Wound up buying the PPK/S instead. Took me a while and one send back to S&W but now it's flawless, super accurate and my CCW when the Florida heat doesn't allow for something bigger. The new 220 is super sweet, even the wife liked it and she's Kimber crazy!
