Hi, Tig! Thank you very much for such detailed info! I really appreciate it! I will stay away from the bear and the wolf and continue buying my good old eagle rounds.:) It has been quite a challenge to get those lately however. The same applies to any reasonably good inexpensive ammo as well. Our local gun stores have nothing in 9mm, not even the expensive HP stuff. Internet stores also seem to be running out of it. I guess I have to start going to gun shows more often. We have a few coming up here in Arizona. May be I will have more luck there.

Thanks again!

Epwrangler, how much do you pay for the Monarch ammo? Thanks!

Hi Doc,

Check Cheaperthandirt.com, they've had some luck getting ammo. When you find it, you've got to purchase a few extra boxes. I'd say buy it all but then I'd be recommending shooting everyone else in the foot! It really is getting hard to find. It's an Obama thing...

Hi, Tig! I went to the site Sunday night - someone already cleaned the place out. I guess, I was not the only one who needed inexpensive 9mm ammo and read your post.:)

I bought a new Glock 17 RTF2 last week but have not had a chance to get to the range yet, i will give a range report later.

I must say it fits my hand better than previously owned glock 26 and 19. Those so called fish gills on the slide work much better than the old style groves. I can rack the slide with 2 fingers, rather than my whole hand.

Must not be many glock 17 fans on here, well anyway I have been to the range twice now with my 17rtf. It shoots great and the rough grip does not make your hand feel like it went through a meat tenderizer. In fact I did better with it then I did my 26 or 19 which I no longer have.

Although it pertains to a Glock 34, I have a question that has really been bugging me. I got a Glock 34. The Glock website shows in the technical data that it has a 4.5lb trigger pull. On the box that I got it in, it very plainly on the factory sticker located on the handle of the box it says "ADJ 3.5lb".

Can anyone shed some light on that? I think that the "ADJ" part has to do with the Glock factory adjustable sights that it comes with.

You have a Glock with a factory 3.5 lb trigger and the ADJ indicates a fully adjustable rear sight
