I also had a bear of a time loading my P11. Then I tried the loading tool from my Ruger P95. Works perfectly! Like it was made for the Kel Tec. Life is so much easier now.

I have had a Kel Tec P-11 for about 7 months and have put about 500 rounds through it. The issues I have had is when field stripping I have to slightly raise the spring or the slide will not enter the frame, and as I am shooting the field strip pin trys to come out some times.

I have never had a malfunction with hollow points and is what you would carry for self defense so for a $ 250 gun I would say it is OK, but I have made the Kel Tech P-11 my 9mm practice gun and have given the primary carry option choice to the Ruger LC9.
