It is not too bad. It is not as easy as some but if you use some common sense and go slowly you will see how things fit. What did you want to fix? Field stripping for cleaning is simple. Clear the weapon....align the marks on the left rear side of the frame and slide while it is half cocked. Push out the slide block ( use the bottom of thje mag to push it). Pull the slide forward off the frame. Remove the recoil spring and guide. Pull the barrel out and start cleaning.

yep ep I'm the buzzaed, 69, and planning on taking advantage of every lifetime deal I can get! Picked up my new toy today, but can't shoot it till Tuesday. The guys at my dealer all were impressed, 1st. time any of the other nutz had seen a CZ kadet. I should charge admission Tuesday. Off the subject, I'm in Texas, I can shoot as far away as I can see that some body is gonna cause me or mine a problem. I don't heal up as quick as I used to..............

Nutz, you know I am in West Texas and I grew up thinking the sky was the limit and anything with in 100 miles was my backyard. I used to envy buzzards drifting on the wind. They got to see so much. The old ways are pretty much gone but I think a man's right to protect himself is God given. God gave us the 10 commandments and the 10 ammendments. I do my best to live by them both.

Hmm, that's not so bad on taking it apart and cleaning it. I thought it would be a lot worse. I mean I noticed that the XD and Glock are really easy, but now that you explained the CZ side of things it doesn't seem so difficult as I originally thought. Now I have something else to keep in mind while purchasing a new gun. Thanks a lot! :)

Sam, field stripping most guns is pretty simple to get done. Beyond that can get more complicated and might call for special tools to do right. At that point it is best for most to seek skilled help.

I am expecting a glowing report on the new gun after Tuesday. Don't charge too much to the curious. Maybe they will want one too.

Well it might be a bit longer than next week before you know which gun I am going to choose. I still have to get my money together first (as in some people haven't paid me back the $600 they owe me yet >_>). Plus, I plan on going into further research on each firearm that I like before choosing one. Once I do purchase my new gun you guys will be the first to know what I think. ^_^

On a side note I will admit the CZ-75 had a killer accuracy out of the box. It almost scared me to death for a firearm that reasonably priced.

It pleases me too. The only other one I had quite like that is my XD45.
