G'day all...

Long time lurker, 1st time poster here...

After checking the reviews here and doing a lot of homework, I got my P-01 a few months ago with the proceeds of my gummint rebate check (the best investment I've made in years!). The only thing is that it's just a tad too big for CC (for me anyway), so that'll have to be left to my snubbie, but other than that it is just so much more than I expected.

It's not plastic!

It has the indescribable feel of quality throughout.

It's not plastic!!

The balance is just right... I tried out S&W MP9 and a couple of Sigs and like the CZ much better.

It's NOT PLASTIC!!!!

Also, it shoots like a dream... 160 assorted rounds to break it in a little (Remington green box/Blazer brass/S&B/Double Tap +P) and not a bit of hand or arm damage to report :)

Oh, did I mention that it's not plastic ?

Right out of the box, 1st 10 rounds in the black from 10 yards offhand DA and SA. Over the years I've gotten a bit rusty, but this l'il Czech made me look good!

I am totally impressed with this one!!

Along with the 1911 the cz75 is a timeless classic. True quality and one of the most accurate out of the box guns made ever.

P-01 range update:

3 more trips to the range and no problems whatsoever!

The P-01 fits like a glove, points like a finger, goes bang when I squeeze the trigger, eats what I feed it, and hits what it's aimed at. Every time!

I don't by any means claim to be a hotshot, but I've yet to be outdone with this at the range by any shooter on either side of my lane!! :) ..oh btw, S&B 115 gr FMJ (really good & accurate ammo and also inexpensive) is my preferred range-round. All other times, Double-Tap 124 gr JHP. (they're really mean!)

I may have to consider moving to the Czech Republic and see about a position testing these things for the factory since this P-01 is so enjoyable to shoot. Da, komerad!

PS: back to the range tomorrow with wifey to test out/break in her new Mosquito.

Got a P-01 this week and it feels great. Really points well, too. At the range it shoots terrific. Hey, I'm no expert, but no FTF's, all shots right on target. Did I say it feels great!

I now have over 500 rounds through it, all different brands, not one issue. A real nice handgun. I've let several old hands shoot it and it gets nice comments. Actually, one guy who shoots competitons seems very impressed.

What belt holster(s) works well with this gun? I have owned the gun for over a year now and plan to use for CCW. The CZ P-01 is of my favorite semi-auto hand guns that I own.

Finally shot my P-01, and it was great! No FTF's and very accurate. I thought the field stripping was going to be somewhat difficult, but it was easy.

I think my CZ 75 SP-01 is probably one of the best built pistols I have, also one of or maybe the most reliable I have.

The only thing against it is weight and size for CCW,but for shooting it is a pleasure!

Best firearm I have ever used or owned. If you are looking for a 9mm look no further. Only NATO certified weapon on the market, as close to military guaranteed fire spec as you can get commercially. Very comfortable, excellent accuracy (can put a bullet within 1/4 inch of where I am aiming every time at 15 yards. Can't say enough good things about this.
