I recently shot a friend's Thunder .380acp he has had awhile and has shot alot.

It felt large and much heavier than the Kel-Tecs I'm used to. Nice looking, well balanced sidearm. I ran several mags of Federal, JHP 90 gr, Hydra-Shoks he had and it was dead-accurate with minor recoil. The Bersa felt more like a 'real' sidearm (2x the weight, 17 oz, with steel frame) than my Kel-Tec .380 that I love so much and was easily as accurate and reliable with a smooth action and good trigger. The 3.5 in bbl would give it a bit more ft/lbs of energy to tranfer to the target.

He is a large man and absolutely 'hated' shooting a mag of the same ammo through my polymer. 8 oz, Kel-Tec.

I swear by my Bersa Thunder 380. Carried it as back up and also whenever we went to the French Quarter in New Orleans. I've put over 500 rounds through it and it's as smooth as ever.
