Shot this baby today, I'm not a seasoned shooter but had much success hitting my target. Great gun for a new shooter. Not much recoil ladies. I love it!

I've shot the 19 and liked it, but want another small carry gun. The 26 or 27?

Depends if You want a 9mm or .40, that's the only difference in the two. I carry a 27 quite often.

Just picked up the LaserLyte RL-1 Rear Sight Laser for my Glock 26. Couldn't beat the price for $99! They even installed it for me.

Just a couple of comments. Pierce grip extensions work just fine although there are two sizes so you might want to consider the one which replicates the grip finger grooves. I tried a plus 2 glock factor extension and it just seems to make the magazine a little more loose for some reason.

Also bought a g23 .40 the same day and I can now tell you my next gun wil be a glock 27 cause that .40 makes my 26 look like a cap gun. A g23 with speer gold dot is like a tactical nuke when it impacts. Make no mistake. Me and G26 will always be in love. glock on

Excellent weapon for CHL. Very accurate. I replaced the sights for Trij Tritium. I also replaced the connecting bar for a lighter one, Same with the firing pin spring, slide release extension and mag release extension. Fires like butter, even with +P loads. I currently have about 2000 rds thru it. 1 Stovepipe. and I was trying to cause it limp wristing it when I first got it off hand upside down. Since this I have not been able to replicate.

This is my second post RE: the G 26 and includes updates since when I first posted on this forum. I replaced the Pierce mag extensions with GAP mag floor plates ($19.99 for a set of 2 from Gap Enterprises, Inc.) and can honestly say, the the GAPs work much better for my small hands...no more blisters on my pinky from being pinched. Yesterday, I competed in a GSSF match and felt that my G 26 performed optimally! I carry my G26 on a regular basis (when permitted by local laws) AND it is one of my 2 fav range guns. G26 rocks!

Glock 26 is the best sub compact I ever fired.

A Glock is a Glock!

It is a little wide and bulky, but it does the job. I have not malfunctions and very good grouping. A little recoil, but not too hard to handle. There are many add ons to this pistol, but I like it the way it came from factory. I'm more of a Ruger person, but there is always an exeption. A friend of mine make me try it and he was correct. I can not argue the glock performance.

LOVE, LOVE my G26! (Don't tell my Sig P239!) I took it for a little outdoor competition in my first outdoor GSSF event recently, and it performed like a champ! I wish you could have seen those 6 plates fall in my first string...bang, bang, bang! I am now working on striving for the same 1-inch group 7-yard accuracy at 15+ yards and picking up speed. I would highly recommend this model to everyone out there. It's also a fine CCW. BTW, the GAP mag floor plates still work better for me than the Pierce extensions, for some reason.
