I purchased my Hi Power several years ago new in .40 I took it to the range and couldn't hit squat. Hard trigger pull. I took it to my gunsmith and had the mag disconnect removed, Wilson Combat night eyes sight installed and pacmayr grips. I also has a trigger job done as it came with a 21 oz pull. I had it dropped to 4 oz. The night I picked it up I shot it in competion and took 1st place. Great piece now.

Range Report:

First five shots at 7 yds: 2.5 inches.

Best three shots: 0.75 inches.

Common three shots: 1.0 inches.

Free standing.

American Eagle 124 grain, full metal jacket.

All I can say is, "Wow".

I was nervous because it is a new gun, first time shooting it, etc. I feel that the gun is capable of 0.5 inch groups at 7 yards easily.

Now that is behind me I will shoot some 10 yard and 25 yard shots with it.

This is how a pistol should operate. I am smiling from ear to ear.

What an excellent firearm right out of the box.

Point of aim was natural. Point of impact matched point of aim. I couldn't want anything more than that.

Recoil is very manageable for me.

Fit and finish is perfect.

Slide is not the easiest to "rack" but if you just cock the hammer first it is then very easy to operate.

What a fine shooting handgun!
