I had one of these in the late 80s. 13 round magazine in 380. Beautiful blued finish and ultra smooth action. Safety is 1911 thumb style. If you are into a high end totally reliable 380 this is the one to get. My only regret is that Beretta does not make a model this size and the same features in 9mm and 40SW. Id pick one up in a New York Minute if in these calibers.

I traded in my Glock 22 for a Cheetah at a gun show. Very nicely balanced, the blued effect has been applied very well. I was lucky enough to clean it up a bit before taking it to the range (needed oil and a quick cleaning in the chamber. Fired off 200 Winchester rounds without issues. The recoil was very controlled, very satisfied with the trade.

I own the 85F 8 shot single stack finished in bruniton and added wood grips to it. Ive been pleased to own such a great pistol. It has never jammed on me and is very nice for training/target shooting. I reccomend this pistol from the novice, to advanced shooters.

Are there any Beretta dealers in the south of New Jersey?

I own a Model 84 I purchased in the early 1980's. It has operated flawlessly. It is one of my CCW with a Desantis pocket holster. It carries 14 bullets. It is smooth and accurate. It was a one-owner and I bought it for $350. I purchased an extra mag and as fast as you can pull the trigger and reload, you have 27 shots. It is my first semi-auto. I also have a new Beretta Tomcat in .32.

I have owned and carried a model 84 in .380 cal for over 25 years. Beautifully made pistol that has ALWAYS functioned well. I shooy Wolf hollow points in it these days, but it has never been finicky about ammo. I know that .380 is a little small for personal protction, but with 13 rounds it ought to do the job.
