Can you shoot a 38 Special cartridge in a "38" ?
I have both handguns a "38" and a "38 Special"

no if the gun is a old weapon make sure that its only rated for .38s. the special came out afterwards and should not be shot in that gun, have a gunsmith look at it if not sure...
