Looking for feedback on the para ordinance

I just bought the para ordinance 1911 in the 4.25 inch bbl alloy slide. Just wondering if anyone has one of these and if you do have you had any problems with it.

I took it out today and shot about 50 round or so and the magazine release button on is is sticking, also the magazines themselves seem to push hard. Over all I do like the gun, but I wish that I had gotten the 5 inch. This is my first 1911 and I do like the style and feel so it will probably not be the last 1911 that I buy

Do the parts for the 4.25 and 5 inch guns work for each other or am I screwed if I want to trick this out?
